First in a line of ServAssure security and abuse applications, Bandwidth Usage Reporter is designed for bandwidth management on broadband cable networks with up to millions of devices. Bandwidth Usage Reporter analyzes network data, identifies bandwidth usage down to the individual device level, and identifies all devices on the network, enabling the development and implementation of bandwidth usage policies as well as the detection of misprovisioned or unauthorized devices.

Bandwidth Usage Reporter identifies per-subscriber bandwidth consumption of each modem without invading a subscriber's privacy, since the data is at a byte-usage level. If application-level data is needed, once premium services are enabled, DOCSIS 1.1 service flows can deliver that feature.
